2021 New Good Neighbor Awards

In 2020, Golden Crown Contractors was retained to restore and replace the Trenton Thunder Ballpark Billboard. The original, 20 years old and deteriorating, was in need of a full replacement.

Golden Crown built brand new wooden panels, primed all of the panels, installed them, and applied finishing coats in the construction of the brand-new billboard.

Golden Crown Contractors Inc. and President Christine Luizzia-McGuire earned the New Good Neighbor Awards for this project as Builder and Nominator in 2021.

2018 Excellence in Construction Award - Public Safety

The DISCA Excellence in Construction award recognizes and honors the state's most innovative and high-quality construction projects.

Christine Luizzia-McGuire, President and owner of Golden Crown Contractors, earned the Excellence in Construction Award for the category of Public Safety in 2018. She was recognized at the Excellence in Construction Awards, among other category winners and competition participants.

2017 Excellence in Construction Award - Unique Project

The DISCA Excellence in Construction Award for the Unique Project category recognizes the contractor of a unique construction project they completed in the previous year.

Christine Luizzia-McGuire, President and owner of Golden Crown Contractors, earned the Excellence in Construction Award for the category of Unique Project in 2017. She was recognized at the Excellence in Construction Awards, among other category winners and competition participants.

Pictured is the completed renovation of the historic Hunt House. Golden Crown turned what was originally an old storage barn into a beautiful office and meeting space. Despite the constraints of extremely strict guidelines due to the historic status of the building, Golden Crown brought the Hunt House fully up to date for modern use. All original structure and design was restored rather than redone.

Alterations - Capitol Post Office, Ewing Township, NJ

On behalf of Lammey & Giorgio I just want to reiterate what I've said countless times to you during the course of this project.........thank you!!

This was a challenging project on many fronts. The schedule was very short, there were many client agency requested changes during construction, and the concealed conditions at the existing building tested everyone's ability to make prompt and appropriate decisions. In spite of all of that, the project was a great success for the State.

The effort made by the entire Golden Crown team of contractors and subcontractors was a major factor that contributed to that success. You reacted quickly, provided us with the necessary information to make decisions, and you completed work at off hours to insure that the State's deadline was met. As you know, this was very important to the State as they were moving from a leased to an owned facility, and delays would have meant additional rent payments.

I hope that we have the opportunity to work together again in the near future. Best wishes for continued success!
